Zu allererst: Mir geht es gut. Zwar sind in ganz Victoria ueberall Waldbraende, die kommen aber nicht so dicht an Melbourne ran. Trotzdem ist die Lage schlimm. Im Moment brennen noch 27 Feuer und 134 Leute sind gestorben. Viele Stadte sind komplett abgebrannt, auch der Ort, wo Damian und ich letztes Jahr noch im Urlaub waren. Unseren damaligen Bed & Breakfast Vermietern ist nichts passiert, wir haben sie im Fernsehen gesehen, wie sie durch die verbrannten Ruinen liefen.
Woodend, wo die Jungs herkommen und ihre Eltern noch wohnen, wurde zum Glueck verschont. Nur 20 km entfernt steht nichts mehr. Wir waren noch am Sonntag dort und der ganze Himmel war voll mit rotem Dunst. Gleichzeitig war es mit 47 Grad der heisseste Tag in Victoria seit Wetteraufzeichnung.
Aber mal Schluss damit. Es gibt auch gute Nachrichten. Ich habe heute zum ersten Mal selber Spaetzle gemacht. Sandra hat mir zum Geburtstag einen Spaetzleschaber (heisst das so) geschenkt und der wurde heute eingeweiht. Es gabt Geschnetzeltes mit heller Pilzsosse und Spaetzle und es war so lecker. Mit einem leckeren Glas Sprudel in der Hand hab ich mich doch richtig wie zu Hause gefuehlt :)
Sonst ist hier nicht so viel passiert. Ich luemmel zu Hause rum, gucken Serien und warte bis die Uni anfaengt.
Ich hoffe euch geht es allen gut und schwitzt nicht so, wie ich in den letzten Tagen geschwitzt hab. Zum Glueck ist alles wieder abgekuehlt. Neuigkeiten gibt es hier bald oefter.
